Job Description

Family Service of RI is hiring a part-time ASL aid to facilitate language acquisition and access in a local child care setting for a toddler who is profoundly deaf. The Language Facilitator will work collaboratively with the child’s family, child care staff, and early intervention team to accomplish IFSP outcomes. The Language Facilitator will also be responsible for planning and implementing regular interactive lessons in basic sign language for child care staff and peers within the classroom’s daily routine activities. Must be available M,W,F from 8:30 – 5:00. ASL fluency and experience with young children are required.
