Employment Committee

  • RI General Law § 23-1.8-3 (3) – Establishment of Employment committee.
  • Report to the Board of Commissioners.

Purpose: 

  • To identify statewide Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing employment issues and challenges and to seek viable and innovative solutions at the statewide systematic level.
  • To make recommendations to the Board of Commissioners for actions.  Examples: Systematic or policy change; Introduce legislation bills for DHH job applicant seekers and employees.
