Interpreter State Rates (MPA)

MPA is the acronym for Master Pricing Agreement. MPAs cover requirements for the universal needs for goods or services for a specific contract period on a state-wide basis.  They are solicited as Requests for Proposals or Requests for Quotes and may have cap limits for pricing and cap limits for project costs. MPAs provide agencies access to qualified vendors, expedited processes, and opportunities for mini-bids. The Rhode Island Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing governs the Sign Language Interpreter and Captioning services. Below are the MPA rates based on Fiscal Years (July 1 – June 30 of each calendar year) for the period from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024.  Through public hearings, the MPA rates are renewed every four (4) years.
